Split-Entry Floor Plans
Split-entry house plans became popular in the 1950s. Split-level floor plans have horizontal lines, low-pitched roofs, and overhanging eaves of rambler home plans, but instead are divided into two stories at mid-height by the entry.
Multi-Level House Plans
Multi-level house plans are home designs that have more than one floor of living areas. Traditional style two-story house plans also are considered multi-level houses. Some of our multi-level floor plans have living space above or behind the garage space, with two or three floors of living space.
Rambler Floor Plans
The modern rambler floor plan evolved in the post-WWII era when the land was plentiful and demand was high. On large lots, there was no need to conserve space, so rambler home plans expanded outwards on a single story. The classic rambler floor plan features combined living spaces, with a hallway leading to the sleeping spaces on the other side of the home.
2-Story Modified House Plans
Two-story modified floor plans offer something for everyone. These house plans feature two levels: the main level with living spaces and occasionally sleeping spaces, and an upper level with sleeping spaces. 2-story modified house plans are great for those who want larger homes with a smaller lot footprint.
Twin Home Floor Plans
A twin home house plan provides two separate units within the same expertly designed structure. Twin home floor plans are great for living in, renting out, or sharing with a relative.
